BoomRedditPrivacy Policy

BoomReddit ("we", "us") provides a Reddit marketing workspace at app.boomreddit.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Google user data — Limited Use
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture URL and a unique Google account identifier. We use this only to create and authenticate your account and to show your name in the app. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train machine-learning models, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to run the service (for example, our hosting provider). BoomReddit's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we collect

Cookies
We set a small number of first-party cookies and nothing else:
- boomreddit_session — keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, 30 days.
- boomreddit_oauth_state — protects the Google sign-in handshake against forgery. Expires after 10 minutes.
We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use your data
- To provide the service: scanning Reddit for relevant conversations, drafting replies with your persona, posting the ones you approve, and showing you results.
- To operate your account: authentication, billing, usage limits and support.
- To keep the service safe: detecting abuse, fraud and attempts to break these terms.
- To improve the product: aggregated, de-identified statistics about how features are used.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only processors that are necessary to run BoomReddit, each under contract and each limited to what they need:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, storage and DNS.
- Google — sign-in and search/analytics APIs.
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
- Search and data providers — used to find Reddit threads and assess search visibility.
- Email and support tools — to answer you when you write to us.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
How long we keep it
Account and product data are kept while your account is open. If you cancel, your data stays exportable for 30 days, then it is deleted from our production systems. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept longer. Backups roll off within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. You can exercise these from the app or by emailing privacy@boomreddit.com. We respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
Passwords are stored as salted PBKDF2-SHA256 hashes. Session tokens are stored hashed. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it.
Children
BoomReddit is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
International transfers
We process data in Cloudflare's global network, which may store it outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will email account holders or show a notice in the app before it takes effect.
